The Portuguese manager’s agent insists that his client is looking for a strong and long-term project, but maintains that he will sit out if he does not find a suitable club.
Andre Villas Boas has returned to the top of AS Roma’s preference list after failing to get their hands on Vincenzo Montella, and the Portuguese’s agent confirms that the manager is looking for a strong project.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager was the favourite to replace Luis Enrique at the Rome outfit, but was overshadowed by the club’s recent interest in Vincenzo Montella.
However, with Catania’s refusal to let go of their coach, the former Porto manager is back to the top of the preference list for the Giallorossi.
Andre Villas Boas’s agent stated that his client is looking for a club with a strong base, and the willingness to commit to the manager on a long-term basis.
The Portuguese’s representative added that although the tactician wants to come back to action, he has very strict preferences when it comes to choosing his next outfit. The agent added that the coach will happily sit out another
year, if he does not find a club that suits his predilection.

Goncalves maintained that his client is looking for an outfit that has a very strong structure, and has the potential to stay competitive in its league. The tactician’s spokesperson stated that there are a lot of clubs contacting
him for the job, and insisted that they will see if any of those outfits fit the coach’s criteria.

“I repeat, we are looking for a sporting structure that is very strong and competitive. We’ll see if these conditions can be found at any of the clubs that contact us.” He added.
The 34-year-old is one of the youngest football coaches around, and is widely regarded as the next Jose Mourinho.
