AS Roma vice-captain and central midfielder, Daniele De Rossi, claims that his outfit has been desperately unlucky in the 2010/11 season. He further claims that the recent run of poor results is because of the recently completed ownership change, which resulted
in the players losing focus.
Talking to the media recently, the midfielder referred to the change of ownership as another tense moment where the team could not maintain clear minds. The midfielder himself has been inconsistent on the field and has not been able to give his best in games.

The club was recently taken over by Thomas Di Benedetto, an American entrepreneur, and the ownership switch brought tense moments to the dressing room. The players, as well as the coach, felt the stress which led to the two back-to-back defeats, putting
them out of the UEFA Champions League race. La Maggica are now on the back-foot in the Coppa Italia as well.
