AS a moderator.... how do I send an "important notice" to ALL the members who have joined over time?

  1. You have to log into the Yahoo groups site and post your message from there. Click "Special Notice" at the bottom of the page that you typed out the message, and this will send it to everyone, regardless of their email preferences.


  2. this would depend on each members mail settings as to how they read group mail. a Speical Notice will go to al members getting mail but also include those members on Special Notice mail setting. those who are set to no mail, unless you e-mail them separately, they wont get anything you send via the group. you'd have to locate those on no mail and send to them maybe through your own e-mail

  3. depending on the site and or forum/blog - there should be a spot where you can send out mass e-mails -- chek in the administration section.
