AS results were good, but don't know if it's enough?

I got my AS results yesterday, got a b in maths, b in english and b in politics (further maths results weren't included). But I want to do maths at Manchester University, but they ask for an A in Maths and two B's if you've taken further maths. I'm going to resit a few modules. Do you think they'll accept me or just ignore my application?

  1. You should definitely apply anyway, you'll never know if you don't.

You'll need to work really really hard at it next year though - I've been good at maths all my life, straight A*s through GCSE, AAB in my three AS maths exams, but when I got my A2 results yesterday, I got a B. I dropped a grade despite holding a decent A at AS level.

Maths just gets harder and harder, if you're doing the C1/2/3/4 courses like I was, C4 is 20 times harder than C1, I'm not even kidding.

so yeah, go for it, but work hard.

  2. i would appy anyway and see what happinds good luck
