ASICS Brand Made in Vietnam?

I've bought an ASICS VolleyBall Shoe but it's written on it : made in Vientam.Is ASICS Shoes made in Vietnam as Sony products are made in Malasia or i have bought a fake ASICS?

Asics / Tiger, as it is commonly known in Japan for their running, baseball, and other athletic apparels and shoes is a brand.    Like Nike and Addidas, its manufacturing takes place mainly in Southeast Asia.    

You likely did purchase the "real" ASICS shoes.
