ASUS laptop battery in/battery out?

Hi! I just bought an ASUS X80LE-4P147A notebook. is it advisable to remove the battery pack while my laptop is plugged in (connected in AC power)? which will prolong the life of the battery: battery in/battery out? thanks.

  1. Leaving the battery plugged in is safe, but it is best to use it after the laptop has been plugged in for 8-10 hours.

    Batteries will tend to last longer, and perform better if stored in a 20-25 (68-77 F) degrees Celsius room, at a battery charge of 40%. It is not recommended that you leave a battery at 100%.
