ASVAB test score question

i scored a 50.45 on the practice asvab is that any good. the job i want is infantry did i qualify for it?

You need a GT of 80 to get infantry and sorry no 50 isn't a good score but at least you will make infantry.

That's not the best ASVAB score but it does qualify for Infantry. You need a minimum of a 32 to get into infantry.

You will make it into the infantry, but I would seriously look into studying for the ASVAB and taking a couple of more practice tests before taking it for record. You can check out a study book for it from any local library.

Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial award of MOS. Infantrymen must possess the following qualifications--

      (1) A physical demands rating, of very heavy.

      (2) A physical profile, of 111221.

      (3) Color discrimination of red/green.

      (4) Correctable vision of 20/20 in one eye; 20/100 in other eye.

      (5)A minimum score of 90in apptitude area CO.

      (6) Formal training (completion of MOS 11B course conducted under the auspices of the USA Infantry School) mandatory.
