  1. see if yu can take an ipod and listen to music that sooths you or chew gum or eat a candybar that gives you energy before th test.

  2. go in there with the "i dont care attitude" i did that and got a 96. When i took it i knew that if i couldn't get in the military (which i have), i could always go to college and enjoy a normal life, so its not a big deal. Plus you can always retake the test after six months of failing

  3. don't worry--prety much eerybody gets a score where they can get into a service!!!!!

you can take it plenty of times---so dont worry

just take your time and when there is a minute or 2 left and your not done...its better to guess than to just leae them blank!!!!!

  4. just keep remembering it is a simple test, breathe, remember "ill do fine" very very very few flunk it. it's merely to see comprehension of certain working knowledges to see what job to put u in.

  5. Be prepared, go to a bookstore and get an ASVAB study guide. Thats what I did and I scored a 79, and thats with a 9th grade education.

  6. well i just thought of it as another test. the math part is designed to run out of time for most people unless you are a math wiz or something. also the test is designed so nobody can score a 100%. if they do there is a suspicion that they cheated and have to take it over again. the better you do the better the job choices are for you. there is a lot more pressure in basic to complete tests. if you don't test well there is a very good chance that you will flunk out so to speak.
