AT&T International text messages, How?

how to send text messages from at&t to international numbers?what form should the international number be in? I'm sending it to Iraq so will it be.. 964770XXXXXXX? just like that? or how? will I need + signs or 00 or what? I tried everything but they say invalid number. Please advise!!

  1. Enter the number the same way that you would dial it.  From the US, thats 011+Country Code+City Code+Number.  

    Be aware that AT&T charges an arm and a leg for sending International SMS messages.  You may end up paying around 50 cents per message or more.
