AT&T blackberry 8110 GPS usage without Dataplan , AT&T navigator?

Hi All,

If we don't get any data plan and media plan from AT&T then can we use the blackberry 8110 build in GPS ?

I mean if we upload any free maps to phone will it work for GPS navigation?

If we use google maps with GPS, are there any charges applied ?

Basically I want to use blackberry 8110 GPS without dataplan mediaplan,at&t navigator .I want to upload manually the maps to phone and want to run my phone as GPS navigator ?. Is it possible ?

Yes, GPS by itself works without a data plan. The GPS chip will just locate your position. Typically it is the mapping software that needs  data plan in order to work. But if you find an application that lets you upload maps then you should be fine.
