AT&T or Verizon for a new cell phone service?

Alright, so i'll clear some things up. I would go with Verizon. But I don't like their phones. Only reason why I am thinking about AT&T is because of the LG Shine. Very nice phone. Thats the kind of phone I am looking for. The Chocolate's keys are to little for my thumbs. Are there any other phones like the LG Shine that can be with Verizon? I'm also thinking of AT&T because I heard they are the same as Verizon in my area. (Portland Oregon).

I was with Verizon for 12 years, they have a good phone service but when you start with their add ons they are more expensive and they like to dictate to the user what you can and can not do with the phone. I have since moved to AT&T and love it. YOu can use what ever GSM phone you like. Plus they are international. WE have had very few problems with AT&T and are not looking back from Verizon.
