ATT help im sooo confused phones?

I bought a Razr and a unactivated ATT SIM card off ebay. Know can I activate them with Pick you plan 39.99 monthly with no extras and they will just charge me the 39.99 for this month? Or is there any other charges for the number or any other thing I need to know. Best answer goes to right answers thanks =)

yes first bill is generally over 100$ just for the first month, due to hidden charges, activation fees, and other ways they steal your money.
