First of all, if we click your first link, it obviously doesn't say anything about "Hurricane Ike" because it is an article about Hanna.  Secondly, Hanna, Ike, and Josephine are all tropical storms right now, not hurricanes.  So, no matter how hard you searched, you would not find anything (as of 11:30 CST on 9/2) about a current NHC-named storm called "Hurricane Ike."

Finally, if you look at the copyright date on your second link, it was from 2003.  You need a more up-to-date link if you want to know the current list of hurricane names.  On the list you posted, it shows "Isidore" as the I-named storm.  In 2003, Isidore was retired and replaced with "Ike."  Use the NHC's site for official hurricane information:  http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutnames.shtml  

Neither the liberal nor conservative media is lying.  There is no Hurricane Ike right now because he isn't that strong.  And it IS on the list of hurricane names.  

Research...it's a good thing to do before you speak.
