ATTENTION ENGLISH RIDERs.....?

I ride western and I was wondering....

Do ya'll english riders own a single western cowboy hat,pair of western boots, or any western tack?

No - I have no use for it.

I do have a cowboy hat, though. It's spangly pink, and I wore it on my sister's hen night the other week. Fabulous.

I have both english and western saddles and tack setups.

I ride primarily English, but I used to show both western and English; I still have a saddle and boots (somwhere) and a hat.  Nice hat.  I look good in that hat ;)  Generally though, when I sit in a western saddle, I feel disconnected from the horse.

i ride both... so i have an awesome cowboy hat, awesome western boots, 2 western saddles, 2 western bridles well all necessary western tack.

i also have all english tack, jumps.. all english stuff.

it is very possible to be good at both

Yes.  But I ride a balanced seat so it is not hard to back and forth.

Hat;  Mexican palm

Boots; dog chewed one of them   :(

Vest; can't find it

Chaps; gained weight but I WILL loose the weight these things are not at all forgiving about weight, and I should NOT have bought them on ebay. They never did fit well.

Saddle; 1950's roper [heavy] rebuilt in 1985

Bit;  silver mounted half bread with roller

Bridle; full brow [I never did like the one ear bridals] with just a hint of silver.

i have a western saddle and bridle and i used to have cowboy boots. I am getting an english saddle soon and i have lessons on an english saddle.

I only take lessons... but I shop at a Western tack shop for my English attire though...

Yep, I've got a hat, boots, belt and buckle, etc. I did work on a western ranch for a while though and that is where I aquired most of the items..

I'm an english trainer/instructor. I do not ride western, no one in my barn does, but for some inexplicable reason we have at least 3 western saddles. We used to have a bunch of other western tack that just sort of mysteriously appeared in the tack room but I took it all to the local consignment shop, or gave it away.

I like to wear a western straw hat in the summer, aussie hat & duster in winter or rainy weather. I wore out my cowboy boots : (

And I have a really cool holder for my cell phone, its a tooled black leather with lots of bling - concho, rhinestones and silver studs! yee-ha!

h**l yeah! I own a western hat. I got a paint horse, and he is going to still be some western! I just sold my saddle unfortunetly it didn't fit. I don't have boots either though. :/ but I do own a western bridle. I do ride western bareback and stuff. Its awesome. Western rocks, but I wish I could take lessons but it would mess me up english wise.

I ride dressage primarily, but I have 3 western saddles, 5 bridles, 3 sets of spurs, boots, 2 hats, and western show gear.

Well I used to ride western, but now I love riding english ! But to answer your question, no, I don't own any western tack.

I ride and show English, but I have Western tack for my horse. I own a Western saddle, saddle pad, and bridle. I also have a set of Western spurs, but I don't normally use my Western stuff.

Well yeah, I own 2 pairs of cowboy boots, tons of cowboy hats, and a western saddle, But english is still what i love!

I got my regular riding boots from a western tack store if that counts, and I ride english.
