AUSTRALIAN PILOT'S LOG BOOKS - How to fill out?

I'm not sure if the "Total Aeronautical Experience" is meant to be for THAT PAGE ONLY or if it's a cumulative total for all pages. I'm guessing it's per page only and the cumulative (grand) total goes in the space marked 'Grand Total'.

  1. The total aeronautical experience column in my logbook (and it's Australian, printed in 2002 so it shouldn't have been changed) has a column for that one individual page and also a grand total one below that for the cumulative total.

In that case, put in TAE for the page in the first, then the running total below it.

However, I'll double check that when I get home from work (in an hour or two) and if I'm wrong, I'll amend my answer - so hang on a few hours and I'll tell you for sure :-)
