AVG Anti virus trouble?

okay, when i go to update my AVG anti virus free edition, it downloads the updates, but then when installing them i get this message :

"General error - not enough free memory, write error"

What does this mean, how do i fix it?

My computer is only 2months old, and has like, 90gb of free memory on the hard drive, and 2gb of ram?

Help please?

The memory isn't refering to the ram or harddrive, it is the AVG's memory, you need to clear your AVG history and just basically clean it out.

i had a very similar problem with AVG- try closing all your programs and everything running- then do the update and see if it works- good luck!
