My avg icon is black and Grey. this means it needs to be updated. but when i try to update it, it says 'no new updates'.

my email scanner is not working.

  1. check your settings. or uninstall then install again.


  2. try to reinstall the AVG. anyway, are you using the latest AVG 8.0?There are options where your download is originated, either from Internet or folder. if you want to manually download the updates into a folder, check this link-->>http://free.avg.com/ww.download-update
