  1. it takes alot

when it find an in fected file it ask  you but dontt remove it

avg is not a good anti virus

the best anti virus is kaspersky then norton then avast

  2. 1>  depends on how many stuff's in your hard drive, usually about 5 mins or so

2>  It gives you the option to either isolate it, and/or remove it automatically after detection

3>  9 out of 10  (it doesn't bog down your computer like Norton)

  3. 1)It depends on your hard drive. If you have alot of things it probably will take around 2 hours.

2)If it finds an infection it will remove it for you.

    3)My rating is a 10 out of 10.

  4. 1) depends on what type of scan and how big your hard drive is and if it has been defraged.

    2) If avg finds an infection it will pop up and ask you to quarantine it. Before you do a scan ALWAYS REMEMBER to update your virus definition files.

    3) 7 out of 10 It is great for a free scanner. The best free scanner out there I have used.

  5. am using a 160 GB HDD on my comp, a whole scan takes about any where between 45-60 minutes. Most of the time it finishwes within 45 mins.

If AVG finds an infection, u dont have to do anything, it moves the infection to the virus vault by itself (the older vesrion required user's permission). Later you can "delete" it from the virus vault.

my rating 3.5/5....paid version has more features(an option to add more schedules, free version u can just edit or disable the scheduled task)
