AVG Update saying: The connection has failed?

Is this happening to any other AVG Anti-Virus users? I remember they had another problem like this and it happened to everyone.

I am 99% sure the problem is on the AVG side. I hope they will have it fixed soon. I run a computer repair shop and none of us can download any AVG updates for almost 2 days now. We have noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of malware and virus's in the last month. Anyone else notice this?

There seems to be a server problem with AVG. I have tried to do the update manually and get to a different point each time before it fails. You may just have to try again in a few hours or wait until tomorrow.

Seems to be happening to everyone. AVG has been pretty careless this past month with the .bin file thing a few weeks back. Don't sweat it. I've always been told, "If you haven't messed with it, then it's not your fault." (This of course applied to whenever a program or software started working).

My AVG update fails more often than not. I suspect that it is a "feature" of the free version (not enough bandwidth?) . Usually I just have to keep trying...

Yes, I've had it happen to me in the past, but only when my internet was acting up.

it just happened to me too , i just start my laptop and the message poped up and i cant update it i dont know why ,.. if u get any answer for this pls pls let me know.
