AVG VIRUS protection?

i downloaded AVG Antivirus professional 8.0.93 + License should i use this for my computer or should i download AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition

ya i know silly questiojn but need to know

If you are computer literate, the free version is fine because it will protect your computer the same way.  The professional version includes tech support and a few fancier features.

  

Whichever you choose, make sure to set the updates to a daily schedule and the scans to a minimum of twice a week (I scan daily).

AVG stands for Anti Virus Guard however AVG does not Guard, AVG 8 is a hog of a program & will slow down your PC, AVG detection rate is 82% this is very poor meaning AVG will more than likely miss viruses.

I would no use AVG - free or paid for.

if you can use the money version, itl give you better updates etc.

Free version will only do so much for ya even though it seems its doing its all. =]
