AVG download error Anyone know what's going on here?

Anyone else with AVG. We've used it for a long time but today after an update it wouldn't finishing, stating we had an A.bin file missing. What does that mean? I took that AVG off the computer and reinstalled it again. Still the same problem. Finally after being annoyed long enough ;-) I downloaded Avast. We used that last year and I can't remember why we switched but wasn't having any trouble up until now with AVG. We'll keep using Avast for awhile until we can figure out what that error was. Avast seems to be running fine. Thanks for any answers.

I am also having same problem, i thought it was my computer at first.. you should wait and see will avg do something to fix it, dont reinstall it yet.

Glad to see you found the answer. Just wait it out. DON"T uninstall AVG,  that kind of advice is crazy.

forget avg delete it and go to some thing else without such issues security is not some thing that you want to have errors with

You're not the only one who have the problem, I got the same error as well.
