AVI to DVD Converter?

Question

I have Some AVI videos on my computer, and I want to put them onto a DVD without a watermark. But i don't want to pay. IF the watermark is on the side or bottom of the video, it's all good, just not in the middle.

Ok so I actually have tried this and it converted and "burned" to the DVD, but when i placed it in my dvd player it didnt work i used like three different dvd players too.

I used a DVD-R, which should I use? DVD + R, or DVD +-R?

DVD's require a specific format/folder structure to be recognized as a DVD. Have a look at the guides on the page at the link (those re authoring), I'm sure you will find what you need to know. The second link specifically addresses copying AVI to DVD.
