AWSoME QUESTION: NEED ALOT OF INPUT!!! THIS WILL BE FUN!!!!!!?

OK HERE IS THE QUESTION. if your shoes bottoms were covered in oil.. and you were walking on a wet log, would it be more slippery or the same as if you were walking on a wet log with just the bottom of your shoes wet?... think about it.. and respond.. with a brief explanation.

Well the oil and the water.... i not exactly a physics expert but i would assume it would be similar to fatty oil floating on water therefore its seperated.... so im guessing my shoes would be seperated from the log and id slip and murphys law has it id land with one leg on eatch side OUCH! lol


  2. Let me oil the bottom of my shoes and walk on a log...I'll get back.  =)

    My guess would be more slippery.  Oil and water don't mix, so wouldn't you have less friction than if it was just water.
