Reports from AZ Stadion confirm that AZ Alkmaar have offered an improved bid to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915 to acquire Ruud Boymans in the ongoing summer transfer market. VVV management had earlier turned down the previous offer from AZ.
The 22-year-old performed impressively at De Koel Stadion throughout the 2010/11 season despite his side finishing 17th in the league table. The club had to win the relegation play-offs to prolong their stay in the Dutch top flight. The young
striker was also linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/ADO-Den-Haag-c38221, as ADO were taking keen interest in taking his signature in the summer transfer market.
VVV technical director, Mario Captein, has confirmed that AZ have offered an improved bid for their starlet and revealed that the team management is considering the offer from the Alkmaar outfit.
“It is the right direction. We’ll answer AZ, but this offer is a lot better than the first one”, Captein said.
The promising striker’s current contract with VVV runs until the summer of 2012 and the youngster does not intend to put pen on a contract extension, seeking a move elsewhere to further his career. The 22-year-old found the back of the net 11 times in 30
appearances this season, and that was enough for the AZ management to add the striker to their wish list.
The Alkmaar outfit see the 22-year-old as the successor to their outgoing striker, Graziano Pelle, who has set his sights on a move away from his current club.
On the other hand, ADO would be looking to replace Dmitry Bulykin, who is set to return to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RSC-Anderlecht-c40394.
The youngster is also being heavily linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AZ-c38571 are the favourites to land his signature in the ongoing summer transfer market.
Reports suggest that an offer in the region of 3 million Euros would be enough to lure the striker away from his current club.
