The Australian ace is eyeing a move abroad in the ongoing January transfer window after plying his trade in Eredivisie for the past nine years.

has denied extending his deal with AZ.

Since then, the versatile midfielder has played 81 matches for the Alkmaar outfit, netting 14 goals to go along with a hatful of assits.
His good performances garnered him interest from a host of European clubs, though no interested clubs has come up with a concrete offer.

However, the midfielder has revealed that all such reports are based on
speculations.
“Right now the clubs being mentioned as being interested are just rumour and speculation. I’m looking for a fresh challenge. I have only five months left on my current contract and if I see that out then I leave on a free transfer. After January I can sign
a pre-contract if somebody comes in and that’s positive proof that a club wants you”, Holman said while talking to the media.
The midfielder, who can also play as a winger, then went on to reveal that he would not rush into any potential move and will asses all his options.
“There’s been plenty of talk in the media about where I might go but there has been nothing official come my way yet. I’ll see what pops up in terms of opportunities outside Holland and then take it from there”, Holman concluded.
