“NAC were mainly playing tricks with us. They were sitting deep inside their own half, soaking up the pressure, and only moved forward on counter attack. It is difficult to score against such mentality. We had some good opportunities. However, we were unfortunate
not to score”, Elm concluded.
Although the Alkmaar outfit dropped two crucial points in the Eredivisie title hunt, they are still occupying the top spot in the Eredivisie table, a lone point ahead of the second placed Ajax Amsterdam.
