AZO Yeast and U.T.I Pills

I have both a u.t.i. and a yeast infection-- can I take azo pills for both? together?

  1. for a UTI you need antibiotics.  drink cranberry juice, it helps keep the urine acid so the bacteria can't grow in the bladder.  You might get a yeast infection from the antibiotic.  Take ACIDOPHILES.  you can also douche with buttermilk, gross I know. Eating plain yogurt will help also..


  2. azo is a medicine that works by numbing up your urinary tract to help with the burning during a uti.  this otc medicine does nothing to treat the infection, so no, it will not get rid of the yeast or the uti.
