The Alkmaar outfit’s skipper expressed disappointment following his side’s 3-0 defeat against the Utreg and admitted he was carrying mid-week’s Europa League clash in his legs.

Although the Alkmaar outfit started the match brightly, knowing that a win will send them three points clear at the summit of the Eredivisie table. However, they failed to dominate proceedings while the home side started to find their feet as the match progressed.
