agree with you alf, it should only be champs in it. kinda de-values the competition when a team who finishes 4th can win it. why is it called the champions league? and are liverpool the most boring team to play in it?

One qualifying round to trim it to 32 and then a first round proper to get it to 16, and 4 groups of 4.

Get rid of group stage in UEFA cup and have it a straight knock out.

Bring back the Cup Winners Cup.
