Aahhh my hair is so normal should i tell my hairdresser to suprise me??

That depends, do you trust your hairdressers sense of style.  

Go get a fashion magazine and look through it for ideas, and if you don't like the idea of "copying" mix and match.  Most salons have such magazines, just go in advance of when your appointment is, or just go and make the appointment later.  

Though you should be thinking what social group you want to "be a part of" if your going for something a little more punkish, or elegant ladylike, or cute and fun.  

Keep in mind the look you are after, or possibly the looks you can have with that hair style.  Part of why I like a shaved head, it fits in with just about every crowd type.  Contemporary, yet edgy with the right clothes.

Nooooooo!!! Never tell your hairdresser to surprise you. Who know, s/he could chop off all ur hair and style it into a bob and that might totally look wrong to you but the hairdresser might like it. Pick what YOU like. I suggest maybe side bangs and maybe highlights. Also, layers would look cute.

I had the same problem a couple months ago, so I told the hairdresser I wanted something new. We looked at the hairstyles in magazines and found close I wanted. I trust my hairdresser, so I let him do the rest. I love my hairstyle and encourage you to try something new. It's like a half a surprise! I hope this helps!

i would only if your really up for a suprise or crazy hair cut why dont you just think about what you want look through magazines and find what you want. maybe go for bangs or angles and layers. if you are willing to go a little crazy then go for it you may love it. goodluck! hope i helped:)

No!  Don't ask her to surprise you, it may not be a good surprise.  Ask her to make suggestions to you and go over styles with you to fit your face.  Then you choose what you would like.

If you're going to ask your stylist to surprise you then you must trust her and you must come with a general idea what you want and what you don't want.  Give her as much insight as you can or you could end up losing a good stylist on your own bad judgment.

DON'T TELL YOUR HAIRDRESSER TO SUPRISE YOU!!! Believe me, there's a big chance they might do something that you hate, and you'd have to wait for it to grow back out. Look up some styles then pick one, and tell your hairdresser to make your hair like that. GOOD LUCK!

Find a movie star that has hair you like, and print out a picture to give it to him or her. Hair dressers hate it when you say surprise me, because they have no idea if you will like the final product.

I would definitely tell them any limitations that you might have e.g. don't cut off more than an inch, not a fan of bangs, etc.  That way you can actually enjoy the surprise!

Sure!  I guess as long as you trust her/him.  I only have one person cut my hair, and she's been doing it for about 4 years now.  I have told her at times to "Just surprise me!", and I've been very happy every time.  She knows what I like and don't like, as well as what will and won't look good.

Yeah, hairdressers know what will work for your eye color, skin color, facial features, etc. Just make sure you make it clear to her how much maintenance you're willing to do, then let her take it from there.

Seriously this is a bad idea. I've done it before and left in tears. Your best bet is to go online or in magazines and find a picture of hair you like, or that you find interesting. Bring it in to your hairdresser and ask her to do that to your hair. This way you both have the same idea in your heads. I also recommend you go through a gradual transition - meaning if you want your hair to be really dark, try lowlights first to get yourself used to the idea. If you want it really short, try chopping off a couple inches to see if you like the style. You can always go shorter, but never longer (without extensions...have you thought about those?) My hairdresser just last night was raving about the Jessica Simpson ones. Good luck, whatever you do!

Don't do it! You may end up with something you hate but your hair dresser loves! Why not take a look through a hair idea magazine or two? They only cost between £1.50 and £3.00! Theres always a couple of hair image galleries online that you could look at too.

You should be able to find something you like!
