The Danish wonder-kid has garnered interest from a host of European clubs and could leave Energi Nord Arena in the near future.
Reports in Dutch media indicate that Ajax Amsterdam are keen to bring http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aalborg-BK-c38181 midfielder, Lucas Andersen, to Amsterdam Arena in the ongoing January transfer window.
The highly-rated youngster made his professional career debut at Energi Nord Arena earlier last year in March. Since then, the 17-year-old has represented AaB in 11 matches and has developed into a key player in the squad.
His scintillating shows at the centre of the pitch have not gone unnoticed, as a host of European clubs are taking interest in signing the young midfielder in the ongoing winter transfer market.
The Danish outfit's technical director, Lynge Jakobsen, also confirmed about the interest shown by top European clubs in the 17-year-old. However, he refused to reveal any names.
“I won't mention any names, but there's plenty of interest in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucas-c22528. We are currently not in talks with any team, but a lot of clubs have asked us about his availability”, Jakobsen said while talking to the media.
Reports indicate that Borussia Dortmund and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 are also taking keen interest in luring the young midfielder away from Energi Nord Arena in the ongoing winter transfer market.
With the two sides taking keen interest in his signature, the Amsterdammers will face stiff competition in order to land the player.
The 17-year-old recently received a call-up to play for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884 League XI National football team, which will take part in the 2012 King’s Cup.
Ajax, who enjoy good relations with AaB since they signed Jesper Gronkjaer in the summer of 1998, would be hoping that they successfully manage to lure the versatile midfielder to Amsterdam Arena.
The 17-year-old would be the fourth Danish youngster should he join the Amsterdam giants following successful transfers of Nicolai Boilesen, Viktor Fischer and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Eriksen-c9074.
Reports indicate that an offer in the region of five million Euros would be enough to lure the youngster away from Energi Nord Arena.
