I recently got a 3 k motor put in me 85 cutlass supreme. Then the transmision started to go out . That is normaly becuase new engines normally reject the trannys kinda like a heart plant. But that not the problem i recently on july 1 had the tranny serviced from aamco. It is currently getting fixed because it broek down again. The warenty covers it and they are going to fix it for free. But most likely its was rebuilt in correctly and the torque convert went out already. Wat im woried since the the the torque went out the pistons in me engine were most likely damaged. Do i have a case and thank you for your time.

  1. No you don't have a case.

Engines do NOT reject transmissions "like a heart plant", that's absurd.

A failed torque convertor has NOTHING to do with the pistons in the engine, if that's even what's wrong with it.

  2. Engine pistons and torque converters are as far apart as the Sun and Pluto. They are not related an any respect.

  3. The torque converter has no connection to your pistons.
