Pakistan’s bowling coach Aaqib Javed expects a competitive series between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE). Both teams will face each other in three Tests, four One Day Internationals (ODIs)
and three Twenty20s.
According to the former fast bowler, “"It's not only about a match between a No. 1 team and a No. 5 team but it's a clash of qualities. The team that has more options in the bowling unit, the variations and the batsmen with more confidence in the conditions
will have the upper hand.”
Pakistan have been playing well under the leadership of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in UAE.
Although critics expected the Proteas to be dominant in the two match clash, Pakistan managed to draw both matches and gained a lot of confidence.
Misbah continued to impress with his leadership skills, defeating http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760.
However, the 37-year-old still managed to level the series against the Caribbean Kings by 1-1. His impressive show forced the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to appoint him captain of every format.
The veteran did not disappoint the board and his fans, continuing his winning run in ODIs and Twenty20s as well.
However, critics expect him to face the real challenge against England, the number one side in Tests and Twenty20s.
Despite all the pressure being built on Misbah, Aaqib believes that the opposition will be the one under more stress.
He added, “I have learnt that they (England) are working extra hard - their batsmen are in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, bowlers are training in South Africa and they are coming to the UAE four days before so I am impressed how hard they are training. You get the feeling they
know it's not an easy series for them as well.”
The Poms will try their level best to retain their dominance in the longest version of the game, but will have to be at their best against a promising opposition like Pakistan.
