Aaron Greene and Neil Caskey conquer Men’s events: Day Three – 2011 Texas Senior Circuit
Aaron Greene and Neil Caskey conquered the finals of Men’s events in dominating fashion, on day three of the 2011 Texas Senior Circuit. Greene owned the title of the Men’s 200m back-stroke, while Caskey seized the gold medal of the 100m butterfly event.
In the 200m back-stroke, Nadadores-NT’s Greene captured the gold medal in an invincible timing of 2 minutes and 01.19 seconds. He was followed by UN-ST’s Patrick Murphy, who stepped on the podium for the silver medal, by clocking a time of 2 minutes and
03.51 seconds. The third spot on the podium was secured by Austin Surhoff of UN-ST, who emerged on the podium as the third fastest swimmer, by reporting a time of 2 minutes and 04.82 seconds.
Ty L Stewart of YHF-MS was almost three seconds behind Surhoof and produced a time of 2 minutes and 07.27 seconds for the fourth position. Niki Denisyako of AGS-GU was the fifth fastest swimmer of the race, as he completed his swim in a time of 2 minutes
and 08.76 seconds.
Denisyako was followed by Power for Life-G’s Cooper Robinson, who stayed 0.14 seconds behind him and posted a nice time of 2 minutes and 08.90 seconds for the sixth fastest spots. Nick J Allen of TXLA-ST and Brock A Davis concluded their swims in the seventh
and eighth fastest spots, by producing a time of 2:09.52 and 2:10.42 minutes, respectively.
In the 100m butterfly swim, Caskey of CFSC-GU was the fastest swimmer to appear on the finishing wall, as he concluded his swim in a time of 54.71 seconds. He was followed by his team-member, Cole S Cragin, who reached the podium for the silver medal by
submitting a time of 54.72 seconds. They were followed by Woody L Joye of UN-ST, who secured the bronze medal by reporting in a time of 54.81 seconds.
Tripp G Cooper of The Woodlands-GU and Dax R Hill of TXLA-ST were the fourth and fifth fastest finishers of the two-lap swim, as they appeared on the finishing wall, clocking a time of 55.24 and 55.32 seconds, respectively. Hill’s team-member, 23-year-old
Andrew P Wang, was the sixth fastest swimmer of the 100m event, as he finished his swim in a time of 55.80 seconds.
Eric Friedland and Madison Gibson of TXLA-ST were the last two swimmers to complete their swims, as they touched the finishing wall for the seventh and eighth spots, with timings of 56.38 and 56.53 seconds, respectively.
The arena enjoyed the wonderful efforts of all participants, while the winners were awarded with medals for their unbeatable swims after the conclusion of the session.
