Aaron Ramsey disappointed with Jack Wilshere being ruled out for three months of action for Arsenal
Arsenal midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 being ruled out for three months of action for the Gunners.
The young http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international was set to be back in action at the start of the season, but following recent developments, the midfielder is now expected to miss out on nearly two to three months of action.
When talking about Wilshere and his injury, Ramsey is quoted to have said: "I haven’t spoken to him so I don’t know what the situation is but I know he’s been struggling with his ankle and it’s a big blow"
Ramsey then went on to admit that Wilshere was a crucial part of the Gunners squad and looking at the brilliant season that he had last time around, his return to full fitness was crucial to Arsenal winning something this season.
Ramsey then went on to add: "He had a massive season last season and he showed everyone what he’s capable of doing. I thought we played pretty well in pre-season together, so it’s a big blow for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and hopefully now he can get back as quick as possible,
and makes a speedy recovery."
Ramsey was expected to be able to fill in the gap left in the midfield by Fabregas, Nasri and Wilshere, but the Welsh international has so far found it very hard to live up to the pressure that has been placed on his shoulders.
The midfielder has had a couple of good games for Arsenal, but he lacks the cutting edge that is needed to help the Gunners move forward and reclaim their spot on top.
When Wilshere was playing for Arsenal last season, he seemed to meet all the criteria required by the team in order for the midfield to be operating at a maximum. For that very reason, it is crucial for the Gunners to get the midfielder back to full strength
as early as possible.
The midfielder picked up a knock to his ankle during the Emirates cup. At that time, it was believed that the injury was nothing too serious, but clearly that has not proven to be the case.
It is amusing to see the Gunners medical staff fail to realize how serious the injury was at first, but at the same time, perhaps this will encourage the board to invest in a new medical staff, that can actually take care of the team and the players, to
ensure their fitness being at a maximum.
