http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 hoping Arsenal can go unbeaten in the Champions League and Premier League
Arsenal midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wales-c3041 international, Aaron Ramsey has gone on to admit that he feels the Gunners need to develop a strong run of wins in the Champions League and the Premier League, if they plan on landing any titles this season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 have not had the best of starts this term and the team are currently sitting in the middle of the Premier League table. For a team like Arsenal, having won only two of their opening six games is nothing short of being embarrassing.
At the same time, the team is looking to try and pick up a number of positive results in the Champions League, having drawn their opening game with Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal already have a very impressive record of picking up seventeen wins, out of the last twenty one group stage matches that they have played, but Ramsey feels that the Gunners should be looking to better that record in the near future.
When talking about Arsenal and their European ambition, the young midfielder is quoted to have said: “We have a good record at home in Europe, and I think we need to approach every game here the same”
“We need to say ‘this is our home pitch and this is where we are strongest’.
“Hopefully the win against Bolton will help us do that, and we want to go on an unbeaten run now.”
The player then went on to admit that despite performing good, Arsenal often fail to pick up favourable results and this causes the team to feel the pressure. However, Ramsey along with the rest of the Gunners squad is now hopeful over the fact that the
team can beat Olympiakos and push their Champions League campaign forward.
Ramsey then ended by adding: “Hopefully we can do that again but get the right result this time.”
With Arsenal looking to go all out in their game, it is safe to say that the North London team are going to produce a game for their fans and critics to remember.
