Aaron Ramsey is highly impressed with Arsenal’s midfield
Arsenal midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 has gone on to state that he is highly impressed with the way the team has been playing so far and has stated that the midfield looks stronger than it has ever been.
So far, the Gunners have been opting to use the combination of Ramsey, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804 in the middle and the team has been doing brilliantly, with the trio in the middle of the park.
Ramsey seems to agree with that fact and feels that the three of them have shown enough, to be considered as the team’s first choice, once the new season comes to a start.
Ramsey when talking about his team mates went on to sate: “Me, Jack and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 are starting to build a relationship and are doing well together”
“We've shown that we are more than capable of playing together and are connecting together. It is an interesting combination and one that I hope I can be a part of.”
The trio played together during http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s victory over FC Cologne this past weekend and Ramsey was highly delighted with the way him and his two team-mates performed in the middle.
He added: “In the middle, we did well and it was a good workout.”
Ramsey’s comments seem to have come at a rather peculiar time. The Gunners are currently wondering whether or not Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 will be at the club next season and if the duo, do happen to leave, then the team might have to go into the transfer
market and make a number of signings.
Nonetheless, it seems like Ramsey is trying to suggest that the younger midfielders at the club, are just as skilful and qualified to take on the Premier League and hence, even if the duo depart, the team shouldn’t be too concerned.
It is a rather bold move on Ramsey’s behalf, but if Nasri and Fabregas do happen to leave the team, then the Gunners will have to make a few crucial signings to fill in that void.
That being said, it is more than likely that Arsene Wenger is thinking on a completely different wavelength. The manager might actually be pondering over what Ramsey has said and based on the pre-season performance, he might even opt to not make any signings
in the summers.
However, should that happen, it would allow Ramsey, Wilshere and Song to really blossom as players, which could prove to be one of the greatest things to happen to the team, in a long, long time.
