Aaron Ramsey returns to Arsenal
Midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 is finally set to return to Arsenal after a short loan spell at Nottingham Forest.
The youngster suffered a horrific double fracture in his right leg during Arsenal’s match against Stoke City in February 2010. It took Ramsey nine months to recover from the potentially career-ending injury, after which the midfielder was loaned out to Nottingham
Forest to regain his fitness.
Aaron Ramsey has played just five matches for Nottingham; however, the youngster made a big impression on manager Billy Davies. Speaking on Ramsey’s impact at the club, the manager said, “Aaron has been a pleasure to have about the place. From working with
him on a daily basis it's clear to see he has a wonderful future ahead of him. He has been not only a credit to himself in the time that he's been with us, but also a credit to Arsenal.”
Few believed that Aaron Ramsey would be able to return to his best form after suffering the career-threatening double fracture almost eleven months ago. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Shawcross-c31996, the Stoke player guilty of causing the injury, left the ground in tears after he realised
the extent of the damage he had done. However, Ramsey has defied all odds to return to the Arsenal squad just in time for their decisive encounter against Manchester City.
It is highly unlikely that Ramsey will feature in the match, but the midfielder will be more than happy just to be training with the team once again. Billy Davies was aware of the importance of easing the midfielder back into action. He opted not to throw
the recovering youngster straight into the fray; instead, the Forest manager used Ramsey sparingly from the subs bench.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he was forced to recall the 20-year-old from Nottingham after http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-Diaby-c3453 suffered a hamstring injury. However, he knows that Ramsey is well on his way to regaining his place in the starting eleven. Wenger said, “He's not
completely ready for our first-team yet but he has now had two months where he's been practising every day with the group. So after he comes back, by February he should be ready.”
