Aaron Ramsey wants Arsenal to make the Emirates their fortress – Premier League Update
Arsenal midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065 has gone on to admit that if the Emirates were to become a fortress for the Gunners, they could easily go on and win titles every season.
The midfielder believes the Gunners should be looking to turn the stadium into their true home ground and in doing so, should ensure the retention of a maximum number of points from the games played at the Emirates.
The Gunners recently went on to beat Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates and during the game, the team went on to dominate their German opponents. However, the victory meant a whole lot more than that, as it also meant that the team was now certain to progress
to the next round of the tournament.
Ramsey, who is quite delighted with the way the team has played games at the Emirates is quoted to have said: “At home we've done really well and this is the place we want to make our fortress.
“Hopefully that can be the case and I'm sure we've given ourselves a good opportunity now.
“It's a great achievement; we're the first [English] team through and finished first as well. It's something we'll enjoy.”
The player then went on to talk about the fact that the Gunners were in the best form that they have been in for the last couple of years. The player feels that the spirit of the team is now at an all time high and hence it is only a matter of time before
the teams goes on and wins some major games, while casuing some serious upsets. At the same time, Ramsey is certain over the fact that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 can easily beat anyone, should they be able to continue the hot streak that they have developed.
“We'll take it one game at a time. We feel like we can beat anybody at the moment with the form we're in so hopefully we get a good team [in the last 16] and we can progress to the next round.”
Ever since the Gunners move to the Emirates from Highbury, they have failed to really make a mark in their home games. However, with an almost completely new team, the Gunners are finally looking to be on top of their form, as they look to start a new tradition
at the Emirates.
It has been a long time coming, but if the team can do just what they need to at home, they are certain to bag a trophy or two every other season.
