When I took her to the Vet. He said she weight 1lb 1oz and we think she is about 6-8 weeks old. So he said he didn't know if she will make it. She is stronger

  1. Don't give any dry food.  Feed the kitten canned kitten food and supplement with kitten milk. She can get lots of hydration from the wet food and milk. Keep her warm and call the vet if she loses energy or stops eating. Hope she makes it.

  2. had the same problem with an abanded kitten. keep on canned food, possibly give some water from eye dropper several times a day. Also to keep up energy/strength mix a drop or two of karo syrup with warm water, just warm enough to disolve syrup, give by dropper a couple times a day. just one or two dropper fulls at a time. this will give the kitten a little boost of energy.learned this from my vet assist. school. it reallys works! good luck.

  3. It's normal for cats to not drink a lot of water, but since she's so young, you probably need to try and hydrate her. You can try adding water to her food. It will make the food softer for her to eat, and get some water into her system at the same time. If you do want to try giving her some milk, get the kitten formula (milk supplement) at a pet store. Regular milk may cause diarrhea which will dehydrate her. That's the opposite of what she needs right now. Good luck with your kitty!
