Abandoned Faces nightclub in Cambridge MA?

Question

Does anyone know anything about that dilapidated old Faces nightclub on Route 2E in Cambridge (when it closed, etc)? I see it every time I drive to the Alewife T station and am intrigued by its ugliness, yet also by how cool it looks.

been closed for years (some say since 89-ish??) It's a time capsule inside. If I didn't live so far away, I would visit it (and who know...maybe try to buy it). As old, cheesy and decrepit as it may be, where else can you almost literally step-back in time??
