Abandoned bird?

Question

I was sitting at the table in my yard, and a baby bird appeared 2 feet from me. He chirped continuously for a few minutes and came even closer. I walked away, hoping that his mother would come from the nest above and take him back, but it's been an hour and a half and she has yet to come for him. What should I do? I know not to touch him, but know nothing else about birds. He appears to be getting sleepy, as he doesn't move away when I approach him at all. In fact, he comes closer to me.

I do not know but i realise that i seen a egg before it is very small shorter than 5cm i do not know what it is but it is a bird egg colour pink and black pink is up of the egg below black nest black in colour i live in singapore if u all know this sent a emil to me at [e-mail] pls tell me as quick as posible
