Abandoned groups? Can I get yahoo to make me moderator of an abandoned group? The owner does not respond.?

The only moderator is bouncing. He does not respond.

He may not have a computer, or may even be deceased.

  2. sorry, Yahoo does not transfer ownership to other people- if you contact them and they then know there is no active owner, Yahoo has been known to then delete the group.

    nothing you can do

  3. Only the owner of the group can grant the moderatorship. Even Yahoo cannot interfere with it. So, better create a new group.
