Abc Poker?

when someone said they play abc poker what does it mean?

It just means they are playing very basic poker.

An example would be:

They only play ace/king,ace/queen,pocket aces,pocket kings,pocket queens, pocket jacks from out of position,or  ace/king,ace/queen,ace/jack,ace ten,pocket aces,pocket kings,pocket queens, pocket jacks pre-flop. They will bet with them.

If they are in position or one of the blinds,they will call into a hand with smaller pocket pairs,king/queen,king/jack or king ten suited.

After the flop they will only bet if they have hit something. If they hit nothing they will fold to any bet.

Its very basic poker.
