For the last 2 months I've had a burning/stinging in my left and right sides,in the front, about level with my navel. Also had constipation, which i think caused some bright red blood on my stool and toilet paper. i used some preparation H and i dont see any more blood, also have been using fiber choice fiber supplements and the constipation is gone for now, but i still have the buring in my sides and my abdamin is tender. My Dr. treated me for diverticulitis, but the antibiotic( Doxcycline) he gave me didnt do anything. Got tested for a kidney and prostate infection and it was negative. Could I still have diverticulits, but need a different medicine-----Also the burning is not bad, but it is constant and just enough to scarte you----other info---im 37 yr old male, and my father died from colon cancer at age 66---thanks---
