my new teacher says she was abducted by aliens and if you wear anything with angels aliens or if you have duck tape she'll give you detention should i be scared????????

I had a teacher like that once, here is how to deal with her. Skip detention and walk into her office while she is grading papers, when she looks at you and asks why your not in detention, stare at her like your scrutinizing her behaviour, when she gets up to take you back to detention, put your finger in your ear and pretend you are talking to someone, in a cold unemotional voice only refer to her as &quot;The Subject&quot; and speak out loud like someone is listening to your verbalization&#039;s, here is an example &quot;Please note that the subject seems to acting in an irrational manner, it is recommended that emotional dampening be surgically implanted during the next recovery phase&quot; now these type of responses will get her worked up into a frenzied state when she starts shaking you by the shoulders, start yelling for help. One of the teachers will come out and stop her, she will be claiming that your playing with her mind, deny any of this and say she has lost her mind and started shaking you for no reason, when in doubt always claim you were inoccent of all blaim.

She may give you detention, but any lawyer in the world will be able to get you acquitted.  Your teacher is not to be feared, she is to be commended for having survived such a horrific encounter with aliens.  I wish I had been able to survive my alien abduction.

Well, it is certainly a possiblilty that you could be abducted by

aliens at any time. That is why I always carry a tooth brush,

small tube of tooth paste, and two rolls of toilet paper with me

wherever I go. alien space craft are notorius for not having any

toilet paper aboard their ships. apparently they have never

heard of it before.

I have little usage for duck tape, but some lip gloss or lip

balm can come in useful for a lot of things. And, it is very

easy to carry around in one pocket.

At first I laughed, because this reminds me of my crazy science teacher, but this behavior is not acceptable. You should be reporting this teacher to your school administrator because it is obvious she is not in stable mental condition. Talk to your parents, and have a joint conference with your parents and the school administrator to discuss this situation because it is very serious. She obviously is not stable, and you should switch teachers immediately. Giving you detention because of duct tape or pictures of fake space aliens is not appropriate action, and is not fair. This problem should be taken care of immediately. Don&#039;t be afraid to ask other students to join in or other parents to join in, because this is actually a serious subject and your teacher obviously needs some mental help. Even if she is kidding, this isn&#039;t a subject you should be kidding about as a teacher and is not acceptable. Good luck, and don&#039;t be afraid to speak out about this situation.

Yes, I would be scared. Not of aliens, not of your teacher but for your teacher. You see if a teacher is making such claims, she is clearly unfit to teach. If for some reason you are given detention for any of things outlined I would be asking her on what grounds she has to this. If it is not in breach of any actual school rules, then I would be requesting that you, her, your parents and the principle have a little chat about her &quot;alien abduction&quot;. After a teacher makes such ludicrous claims, their credibility is out the window. Also, they now have given her students the power as she cannot impart discipline because of her lack of credibility.

I think it is a blight on the education system when the educators themselves are not trustworthy.

You shouldn&#039;t be scared, you should be switching teachers.  Yours is obviously a nutcase.  She&#039;s not allowed to give you detention for any of those things, and she&#039;s obviously not qualified to teach you anything about science or critical thinking.  Get out of that class pronto.
