all-rounder.
The injury has made sure that the cricketer from Lahore has been ruled out of Pakistan team’s upcoming tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 as Misbah ul Haq and company can try out some of the younger players.
Abdul Razzaq signed a contract with Melbourne Renegades, where he will be accompanied by former Pakistan captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Ali-Khan-c89356 Afridi. The all-rounder is confident of taking part in the T20 league, which is going to commence from December 16, 2011.
"I've been advised 2 weeks rest by the medics and after that I should be ready to play cricket again. It's a frustrating injury but I'm confident that I will be fit for the Big Bash League", the all-rounder said.
Abdul Razzaq came to the scene of International cricket in 1996, when he made his debut against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, where he emerged as a world-class all-rounder.
Since then, Abdul Razzaq has won a number of matches through his nippy medium pace bowling and devastating ability to hit the ball hard. Very few players in the world can hit the ball harder than him. However, he is at the twilight of his career at the moment
and one does not expect him to be a part of Pakistan team for a long time.
He was not that impressive during the three ODIs he played against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 and it remains to be seen that he remains in the long-term thoughts of the selectors.
