Abdul Razzaq decides to call it quits next year
Pakistan’s most prolific mild mannered all-rounder, Abdul Razzaq, has decided to call it quits after the 2012 T20 World Cup.
Razzaq, while giving an interview to a Pakistani newspaper, said, "Retirement is always a tough
decision, but looking at my form and fitness, I see myself walking away after the 2012 World Twenty20... I will try to finish my career on a high, which is very important for me as I would like to give as much as I can give to my country."

an honour. I want to win the World Cup for the country before retirement... and I believe I will do well for Pakistan in the tournament."

He gave his international retirement in 2007, when he was ignored by the selectors for the first World Twenty20 tournament, but later took his decision back.
He jeopardized his career when he joined the unofficial Indian Cricket League (ICL), which resulted in his ouster from the national team for nearly two years because the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had initially made it clear to the players that if they
joined the league, they would be banned from playing in the national squad ever again. Later, however, the PCB lifted the ban from the players after the cancellation of the ICL.
