why to say good bye to any sports rather we should try to win gold in all sports that is the spirit.In the country of 100 crores we r happy if we get just total three medal or so including bronze also but in USA just one man takes 8 gold in one event and still they r not happy.If we will be satisfied with bronze only then our sports man will never go for gold.

Congratulations mac u r 100% right. I guess most of them are sick and tired of the antics and hype and hooplah around cricket and cricketers. Other sports should be encouraged and its time people wake and realise that there is another world of sports apart from the nutshell ( Cricket ie). Talented sportsmen should be groomed and facilities in our country should match the international standards in order to improvise our sporting culture.

Let us take cue from countries like GB and aussies even they do play and follow cricket but not blindly following only cricket like us indians. (Nothing wrong in improvising our standards)
