Able to take out money w/o atm card or acc num?

Question

i have an acc at hsbc bank. i dont have an atm card and i lost my acc. number. would i be able to take out money if i went to the bank and give the bank teller my info?

I'm pretty sure if you just go to the teller, tell her/him you lost your account number,  he/she will ask for identification, and info...and give you ur account number, but you can't just ask them to withdraw money unless you have a check or money order. You will have to apply for a debit/atm card.
